While I like this shot, I'm more of a traditionalist and as a voter I took the title of the challenge literally and that's why I gave you a lower score. Good photo, but in my newbie opinoin, it didn't fit the challenge.

I'm new to voting and challenges and I'm taking the title of the challenge to heart, hence the low score. That along with the white noise dots (or reflections?) simply didn't appeal to me as a voter as the more traditional "live music" photos. I do understand the concept behind it however - very creative take on the theme.

This photo and a few others truly do portray the year stated in their titles. My eyes keep drifting to the flag. It's as if they can almost see the blue star background and red stripes.. One of my favorites of this challenge. Well done.
