Grey Girl IIby rmedavidComment: Bah. I was actually going to show this photo to someone and point it out as "Now THIS is a good photograph." I was dismayed to see it got DQ'ed on a technicality.
It could be worse; I once got to my university right after they stopped handing out free hot dogs. |

Power line on the prairieby kiskatComment: The image is a bit small, but I still like it alot. I'm a fan of very strong lines in landscapes, and the powerlines, the fence, and horizon contribute to give a very nice dynamic to the movement. It looks a little bit oversharpened though. |

silky roseby shoggyComment: Good composition and depth of field, this definitely would have benefited from the use of Levels and some Contrast adjustment. |

Silky Petalsby tetoComment: Nice shot, did you color the carnation yourself? If it is a carnation, I'm no horticulturalist. |

Silky-smooth winds of a spring nightby abhinabaComment: I don't think that this entirely meets the challenge, but as a photo, it definitely is great. I like shots that blur the line between impressionism and photo-realism. |
