Black and White beautiesby graphicfunkComment: He looks proud enough, but picture is just too busy. Also, George has to much to be proud of, his boat, his dog, his 2nd Amendment rights.

The Burger Masterby Rook3000Comment: 2nd look - He looks proud, the photo is technically good, your item placement is great: Nike, Coke, Champion and McD. I just don't have a clue what else you're trying to say. 7 |

Mother's Prideby bob_bobskiComment: Your photo is a lot closer to parental pride than most , perhaps its the allegorical raising one's child above the others.
2nd look- Still better than most, but just not GREAT, think the harsh shadows are a detracting element. |

Pride Is In A Man's Soulby cheegirlComment: 2nd look - or perhaps sole?
Good still life, technically masterful in my book.
I hope enough people recognize your combat boots as what they are. I'm afraid that they might just be to out of context for most. bumped you two notches - 9 |

Standing Apart From Anotherby rjksteschComment: 2nd look - I'm not sure if I sense pride, but sense something. Couple might not be perfectly placed, but couldn't stand loosing any of the wonderful column.
7 just because I like it. |

Pride for my Countryby amyrhComment: 2nd look - Kid's got an award winning smile.
Center axis flash really flatens out what would have been a great photo.
Check the tips on using your flash, there's a lot of them online.
Also, turn the date off on your camera, if you can. You got the topic expressed well, but technically a 6. |

Birthday Cakeby jkb1Comment: Ah, I remember the first birthday cake my wife made for me....actually don't have to remember it, its holding the den door open.
Perhaps its the curse of AF lens, but so many photos show soft focus when the subject is off center. You got your idea across, just technically limited to a 6 |
