Just Married!by JimiRoseComment: The reflection really is what makes something special of this photograph. |

The Palaceby sfaliceComment: More recovery of the highlights would have helped too, if possible and if your converter allows for it, given it was shot in raw. Or just underexponsing a bit and lift shadows up in postprocessing. And further straightening. Message edited by author 2011-11-04 09:23:10. |

Waitingby bjoernComment: On this one, I would have cranked up the ISO so to get more DOF. Neatimage, noiseninja, topaz and the like are quite good at preserving detail in postprocessing while removing noise, and downsizing for submission will anyway produce a sharper picture than full size. Also, maybe an half stop underexposure, maybe more, could have been restored easily in postprocessing while granting you bit faster shutter speed or narrower aperture. |

Simple Symmetryby hicksComment: Possibly, a lower angle would have worked better (sneakily, maybe even arranging the leaves in a symmetrical pattern or path, given the bridge seems to end on a bunch of leaves). I find fascinating that the bridge seems to lead, well, nowhere. Chromatically, maybe it would work better with a less pronounced green dominant. |

l\ Parallax /lby GarryComment: I like this. I remember a friend putting a piece of, uhh, masking tape were the water sprouts from, to divert the water so to make a similar shot more symmetrical :) |

St. Francisby APComment: This would have worked well in HDR I think. |

Supportby cabaComment: This one would have been an ideal candidate for HDR, I think, or simply for shooting raw and underexposing a bit, so to receover the brightness in postprocessing. The range seems to be too large, thus clipping detail and colors in the highlights, which spoils it a bit. Also, a much lower angle, if possible with the camera at water level, would have put more of the upper scene in the reflection, enhancing the sense of perspective. The scene in itself is lovely. |

V Funnyby mcaldoComment: Outtakes, which would have probably done better scorewise, but still I found more interesting to post the above:
