I see so many dog pictures and most of them are a boring subject. But, I think you've captured the true nature of the beast here! I don't care for the glare on the window and may have been able to reduce in post processing; however, you did retain some detail here which is a good thing. I also like your use of textures in the image and I find the overall composition very good! I also am not a big black and white fan, but I do like the image! 10

Although there is a bright area that normally would be distracting, it does retain detail and adds to the overall image. The color shift from the center out is nice. In addition, the angled pattern in the glass contrasts nicely with the background (hard angles against soft curves bordered by hard curves). The bottom edge of the image seems a bit weak. 9
