I, Me, Mineby gsalComment: Too bad for the DQ, but you can still be proud of a picture worthy of a place on the wall. |

Shatteredby snafflesComment: Sad, certainly, and probably very desolate, but the photo is very flat and uninteresting. Also, with a shot like this you would want your main subject to be in crisp focus, but it appears the focus is here a few centimeters off. Giving it a more interestin crop could've helped immensely, you don't really need so much dirt arounf the wings. |

Alone In The Cornerby asmithphotosComment: Not really an inspired shot. The empty wall on the right does not add anything to the picture. Having a model sitting alone in the corner would convey your idea of desolation better than just a cup. The lighting could be more dramatic. |

Barren Barnby breadfan35Comment: A bit dull and uninspired. Could do with more contrasting colors and a more interesting angle. |

When Water Breaks Free.......by kenskidComment: This could've been a nice photo if it got away from that 'snapshot' feel. It does not appear to have had much work in it, and that hurts it. Next time, try a different angle; the left part of the picture (sky and trees) do not add anything really, and could've been left out of the photo entirely. |

Cut, Slowly Falling Apartby tngrndreamComment: This photo could be much more interesting if you took it from a lower angle, and/or if the subkect wasn't centered. It could also use a bit more contrast. The log is sort of going up in the background. |

Nature's Carpetby XileboComment: I'm sorry, but this shot isn't very good. You could probably enhance it by bumping the contrast/saturation a bit, but probably more dramatically by adding something of interest in your photo. Right now it lacks depth and a focal point. A few shadows here and there could make it more interesting, but why not put a model in somewhere? You could even pose yourself. |
