PaulE, thank you for the critique. I hadn't even thought of the shadows as being a distraction as my mind understood they were caused by the water and I kind of liked it. Now I'm curious as to how it would look without the shadows in water. I'll have to try that. It had an original 'soft' look, but I thought it came across as blurry, so I probably did over-sharpen it for the amount of information available in the file. There are other things I thought of 'after' I submitted the photo, one being that it should have been made 'square'! Your critique is appreciated. Thank you.

I like the softness in this photo. The mood is pleasant. I really wish the dpchallenge header bar didn't 'top' the photos. It's rather distracting. For some reason, it is particularly distracting on this photo. When the bar is hidden from view, the balance in this picture stands out.
