Had you just slightly toned down the saturation or brightness or contrast (sorry, I can't figure out which is making my eyes hurt), then I wouldv'e voted this a ten. As is, you get 9. I really like the idea and composition a lot.

? ? This has all the potential to be a great shot. The lighting is great. THen the composition is just weird. I think had you made a breakfast platter and cooked the food and then set the ingredients in a cool and subtle way in the background, it would've been really cool. Of course this is just one gal's opinion. Maybe I just don't get it.

If it's going to be a shot THAT close up, it should be pristine in my opinion.
The smear in the mustard and the waves in the blue fabric wreck this for me.
