Dangerousby Pipe_DreamComment: The top of the hat is a bit cropped off. Would be nice to have the whole hat (headwear) in the shot. Score: 6. |

Coralieby glodaComment: The blues are great, but the reds of the photo could use a little desaturation in my opinion. Score: 5. |

Minkby TransitComment: Beautiful model and sharp picture. The lighting coming off the beads on the hat is a little distracting. At first glance, it looked like there may have been something wrong with the photo (perhaps lens dust or something). Score: 7. |

wheelchair buskerby moviealienComment: The hat is funny, (not making light of his situation). There are a couple of technical aspects that probably need reworking in this shot. The idea is good, but there are several composition distractions. The front of the bus in the background, the intersection of the red cone with the subjects face , and the crop of the hat (the key element of the challenge) take away from the image. I think a point of view (different shooting angle) would work best if you were facing the front of the gentleman in the wheel chair.
Of course, this is merely one person's opinion, so please "take it with a grain of salt".
Good luck to you in the challenge. |

Wow, my pick for Blue actually got a Blue! Now, if only I could get voters to agree on how MY images SHOULD score, lol.
Congratulations. Great shot. Message edited by author 2006-11-15 10:18:52. |

ebb & flowby StagoleeComment: This is a great composition. I had to come back to it and am bumping it from a 5 to a 7. I like the leading affect it has on the viewer with its nice curves in the foreground. The little tunnels in the back actually take away something from the photo, IMO, but if you cropped them out, then you lose most of that nice rock on the right. 7. |

Through The Fenceby nameremoved1Comment: I'm not very sophisticated with post processing ,but I might suggest playing with this just a bit more in the channel mixer or something as the image comes off a little flat IMO. 5. |

Hungryby rjksteschComment: Nice depth of field on this one. One thing that might have conveyed the "hungry" title is if the child was staring directly at it and may have even had a hand coming towards it. The child seems to be looking away from the food. 5. |

Facesby JutildaComment: I like the captions/faces so the overall composition is very nice. But the image itself is a bit soft adn I would prefer to see this in a shaper image. 5. |

Defianceby violinist123Comment: I'm not sure I really get the title as all of the people are staring towards the one person. I do like the shot. Lots of green hue in this one I guess to pull out the uniform. 6. |
