It's refreshing to see a photo in this challenge that is natural and not a forced pose- just a moment that captures a guy doing his thing!

Lines that time has left!

Comment:
Every one of those lines were well earned and could tell a story, I'm sure! Too bad we can't see into the eyes- although it is surprising how much emotion is captured without the eyes in this case.

This is a landscape...with a very small person in it. DNMC in my opinion.

Comment:
Rather small, but the landscape orientation definitely adds to the story of this portrait. I like the distinctive yellow rain boot!

Shadow and light adds to the landscape orientation to create a pensive portrait.

Not really a portrait. Needs to decide who/what is the subject and focus on that.

Awesome interpretation of "Portrait in Landscape Orientation" and unique use of the whole frame. Emotion is captured in her eyes.

Portrait Of A Lion

Comment:
Should either be deliberately off-centre or centred. I think if it was centred, the shadow on the left-side would have been more powerful and narrative of the animal's character.

Unlike other photos in this challenge, I really like that the image fills the landscape orientation. And how can you go wrong with an adorable subject like that?!

A Time For Gathering

Comment:
I would have preferred if the whole animal was in the picture- more of his (or her) stripes. Stark white background seems unnatural given the subject. But, the detail captured in the gathered treasure is awesome!
