thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the playing card idea for the challenge and interjecting some creativity into it to produce an interesting and well-made shot. elements are well chosen and arranged. like that you used a use set of cards, goes well with the other elements and the warm lighting. nice use of shallow dof. one of two highest scores of 9 for this challenge.

a nice shot that rises well above the majority of the "baby" shots in this challenge. the expression of the child, plus the addition of the mother and the interaction between the two works well to convey the idea of "good" to the viewer. the backlighting as well gives the pair an iconic impression-not just this mother and this baby, but a representative pair of the "goodness" that is the mother/baby bond. well done - 8.
