good. creative interpretation of the subject and a well shot photo. like the somewhat nontraditional composition: usually would see this shot framed so that the bullseye was in the lower left with the dart moving up into the upper right (closer and filling the frame more with the two elements), but this slightly different framing makes you stop and take a second look. like the colors as well. well done - 8.

i guess i can get the concept you are going for, but the execution of the shot is very poor. lighting is flat and composition is jumbled and distracting, there is no solid point of interest in the shot and too much clutter. sorry -3.

seriously though . . . why you got to go and do that to the poor dog? despite the torture of household pets (which I too enjoy, if not to your extent), the picture is still pretty poor. looks like you used the on camera flash and the lighting is too harsh, with the background completely lost. thanks for the laugh, though.

excellent idea for the challenge. i was actually surprised that we didn't see more photos of aid workers, cops, etc. i'm assuming this a candid and not a studio setup, so well shot with good interaction between all the people in the frame. the exact nature of the aid isn't necessarily clear, but the woman's distress and the man's comfort to her is. kudos - 8.
