How very Warhol-esque. Interesting take on the challenge.

The shallow dof doesn't work here for me. If the legs had been in focus too I think you would have had a very sculptural effect.

While I think the geometry, color and light effect of the pool is interesting, the background is distracting and the nude gets lost in the composition. A tigher shot, or perhaps a steeper angle (if possible) would have worked better. Also, if the figure was floating, swimming, or perhaps completely under the water in some other pose this might have been better.

Every time I look at this I adjust my initial rating up. A very powerful image.

I'm really trying not to react to this on a purely aesthetic level, because I understand that a "pretty" picture was not your intention. But I still think this falls short on a couple of points: First, I think this would have been a more interesting and more powerful without the heavy-handed post processing. Second, while I think you intentionally wanted a stark and straightforward composition, the composition on this could still be improved. I would have either liked to have seen something tighter, or a more full-body shot (or perhaps even just without the arms on the side so that there was negative space all the way up both sides). All that said, I've bumped up my rating. If nothing else, you deserve something for entering a shot that has such a likely chance of getting panned.

Nice. Left wondering what a slightly longer exposure would have looked liked, giving the water (and the shot) a softer look and effect.

Nicely done. Very good composition and exposure. It may be my monitor, but I wish there was a little more texture/detail in the dark area of her hair and that it stood out more from the dark background. Also the way she is resting her cheek on her arm detracts from her otherwise good expression. Wish the eyes weren't purple.

Fun shot and a nice pose. I wish the lighting wasn't quite so harsh.

Great composition, and a fun shot. I know the bubbles on the breasts were probably intended for the sake of modesty, but for me they actually work to make the shot less artistic and more men's magazine.
