X-Rayby MAKComment: wow i think this is cool but it mainly meets the challenge just through the title. I think in order to make it more clear that it is supposed to be an x-ray it would help to show more of the person's body. It's good having it out of focus but having more there would make it clear that it isn't just a skeleton. |

Are you studying me?by nickersh2oComment: This is a photo which I would like to see more depth of feild. The simple wave in the background has some great texture and it would be cool to have that in focus to sort of balance out the top of the photo with the bird. The lighting is nicely done though and the textures of the shells is neat. |

Studying Butterfliesby nutzitoComment: Fantastic idea. The folds in the sheet in the background are really destracting though. Ironing helps. Also the light from the right is much stronger from that on the left and makes my eye draw to that corner instead of the really cool focus, her eye. More light on her face could help this. |

Picoides pubescensby StrikeslipComment: EEK! depth of field here is BEAUTIFUL. The contrast between its fluffy feathers and smooth feathers against the wood is just awesome. The technique here is great. But it seems to me that this kind of plain portrait of a bird on a branch is overdone. Maybe a more interesting angle? Either way, beautiful photo. |

Unpopular Return of Natural Selectionby neophyteComment: I really like the spontineity in this picture, however there is something about the goose's nose running into the pole that throws it off. The long depth of field really works here though and the black and white also is cool. :) |
