My friend Mikeby GThumbtackComment: Nice pose amd built-in fun expression, but the bright spot on the background, the harsh shadow, the grain/noise, and the uneven junction of the backdrop with the foreground are distracting. |

Moxy's Lucky Dayby JaimeVinasComment: Funniest entry of the lot. Certainly creative and interesting. With slightly greater depth of field I would have bumped it up to 8. |

Abstract Gardenby SJCarterComment: I liked the "blue with a splash of sun" version better, partly because it has more vivid colors in larger patches but also because the better- defined motion comes closer to oil painting brush strokes. This one feels less energetic, but it is pretty in a different way. |

in concertby yankoComment: LOL. Just got back from a local festival complete with craft booths. With that mind set, the thumbnail and title attracted my attention as a possible image of a musical saw done in a creative way. Of course, opening the image reveals not that, but instead a well-captured slice of life from between two buildings, and a very nice black and white conversion too. |

cellby jmritzComment: I perceive a bearded figure with light clothing and a head covering looking out a small window in a thick wall. The blur and yellow-brown tones make me think of old paintings of persecuted religious men in biblical times. I like the somber mood. |

day 10+1. 30 days of sharpless. wattle on fireby rozComment: Like an abstract modern painting - it could easily be framed and displayed on the wall of a downtown office building. The noise gives a sense of grain that seems just as intentional as blur (irrespective of what you were thinking at the time). I think they work well together. |

Urban Girlby SandyPComment: The blur fits with common urban custom of glancing at others quickly to get an impression (without much detail) and avoiding prolonged looks. The dark walls and windows make a great background for the well-lit subject. This may be just enough inspiration to get me out to try for some street images before too long. Nicely done. |

Blue with a Splash of Sunby SJCarterComment: Shades of an impressionist painting. Frame it and have a gallery find someone to purchase it for the high value it deserves. Another example of an image that I would not expect to be exceptional in a sharp version but that benefits greatly from the motion blur. |

moving right alongby timfythetooComment: The yellow-white streaks really make it sparkle, and the bonnet makes a very cute addition. A very sharp image would have been dull by comparison. |
