Ma'am.........(day16)by jonnienyeComment: Jonnie - this kicks ass... I love the darker feel. Very very cool shot (frosty even). I think I'd prefer this without the texture and in b&w because your pose, the hat/shirt and most importantly expression are all ace. I even love all that negative space above - it somehow lends itself to the hat and expression, like the weight of the world. My fave Jonnie SP so far... |

Satisfiedby TCGuruComment: Fantastic lighting - I'm shooting my first headshots tomorrow for a model's portfolio and if they come out half as good as yours I'll be happy... |

Clarinetby cryingdragonComment: Wot no camo clarinet?! I think you could probably do with a bit more DoF on this one to bring the end of the clarinet into focus though. |

Day 16 - Treasuredby photokariangelComment: Nice one Kari. I really like the composition on this one. As always you've got fantastic tonal range and the b&w/partial desat really brings it out. And you've got an admirer sending you roses...that's pretty cool :) |

Chairby cryingdragonComment: Yep..what TGW said...I do the same..typically f8-f11 at 1/125th and lights varying. I try to get the lights as far as possible away to reduce the shadows on the wall behind, but depends on the shot. I'm reading this book - really worth getting a copy. |
