I Wish I Had a Quarter...by tfarrell23Comment: A nice old-time feel.. curse modern vehicles eh? Especially the Dodge Turbo.. PETE I hate those ugly things. 2.
(just kidding.. hehe) The background does hurt this shot, however.. even if there probably wasn't that much you could do about it. |

U N C L E S A M W A N T S U Vby posthumousComment: Focus definitely grabbed the wrong subject here.. hitting on the background. Also, just a little too much going on here, composition isn't extremely strong, having no real point of interest.... etc. etc. etc.
Make sure in the future that your camera's focus selector is either on center, or if you can only use multi-point, that it is grabbing the correct subject. Get in closer when you can, isolate your subject more, and give us.. the viewer.. something we can get interested in.
A very minor point as well.. that title method is a little distracting. |

Not that I'm not disappointed at the stooping ;) |
I don't disagree with this or Robert's comments at all - it was a conscious decision to go mainstream on this one...partly as a test of my commercial skills (since I do shoot this kind of thing commercially now) and partly cuz I just felt like it.
Fear not, regular P-stuff will be forthcoming :) | |
I would have done the same thing for a box of cracker jacks.
mmmm... cracker jacks. |
