Musician, Nicollet Mallby choltmeierComment: This one brings a strong aesthetic pleasure with itself. What strong composition! I wonder if it will be more effectrive in pure B&W instead of a sepia tone. |

Moment of Impactby dssagent88Comment: I suspect if the picture is actually of what the title suggests.. the DOF blur isnt quite what a motion blur would be... it almost looks like the ball in lying on a base, and the actor is still for the picture. So *unless* this was taken with a high shutter speed and the bat in motion, I wouldnt be too impressed with the technique itself. Nice idea though. |

And then there was light...by PrashComment: Originally posted by citymars: Originally posted by violinist123: I was interested to see what you'd entered after receiving your comment on my image asking 'where is the abstraction'. To answer your question, it was an abstract of shapes and gradients of light and shadow. As opposed to, say, a snapshot of a statue that happened to be sitting around the house. |

The Rockiesby vtruanComment: Please re-read the challenge details: "Take a photo of someone trying to move an immovable object."
I do not see a subject trying to move the mountains here. |
