You've successfully captured the shape and texture of this doll's face, but I think it's too regular and flat to be really interesting.

Dolls gone ( to the ) Wild

I think this would be better with more "wild," particularly with the grasses coming up from the bottom of the frame, as well. I would be careful not to crop the feet, and if you could move the cabbage patch up to hide more of the wicker, that'd be good, too. I do like the image of these two dolls as friends!

For this kind of an image, I would like to see the entire characters, including feet. I think it would be more interesting if the dolls were placed in a context rather than posed against a solid background. That said, I like the pairing, the image is very crisp, and the pose is quite nice.

Your subject is very cute, but I think there are too few bears showing to really make it an interesting picture. Also, I think it would be better if the dog were not centered in the photo.

I like that you've done this shot from above rather than the standard 3/4 portrait view. I think that even with the shallow depth of field, the lace trim is still a little bit distracting, as the focal point seems to be the eyes. I think you could probably go even more shallow, or maybe shift the doll or just turn her head to put a her dress a little more into the shadow.

I like the creative take here, but I'm not loving the presentation. I think I would like to see the puppet hand held in a less natural way, and if the strings had not been such a bright white, I think the image might have a better flow.

I think you could have made the shadow an even bigger part of this shot. The shape is very interesting!

I love this shot! I think the shallow depth of field is great with the softening rings, but I wish on the whole doll the near eye were as sharp as the far one.

I really like the soft background here coupled with the doll's stiff expression. The colors are great. I wish there was a little bit less shadow on the doll's face.

This is a really beautiful choice of subject, and the poses are great. I think the idea of putting these puppets in a natural setting is very creative, but I think in this case the textures and colors distract from the main subjects. I think this could have benefited from a simpler background or a shorter depth of field to keep focus on the puppets.
