Just a quick question on resizing. I did go to tutorial page, but that shows you how to resize in ps which I dont have. I have psp on my desktop pc and just iphoto on my laptop. I prefer to use iphoto because it is much easier to do the basics with than psp. Now to my problem..... After I resize the image to the max size for submission they are still too big (ie. 180 to 200 kb instead of 150 or less). How do I get these pictures below 150 so I can start participating in challenges? |

I don't have either if these software titles, but both should have the option of setting the JPG quality when you save. Look in you help files for information relating to the JPG quality, and you should be able to find out how to do this.
What you want to do is set the largest side for 640px, then save at the best quality setting that still gets you under 150k.

The last step before you save in PSP has an 'options' button - hit that, and set the compression how you want it to get the file size, then save.
