I'm trying to learn spanish. I think this is what I can make out so far:

"This is very smart. It doesn't work. They ???"

Oh, ok..."They tricked me"

What is "esto"?...I thought that it was estoy, estas, esta, estamos, estais, and estan...with accents.

Actually, I think the Spanish says, "This is very bad. It doesn't work. I'm pissed", or something to that immediate effect.

Esto = this (thing)
es = is
muy = very
malo = bad.

:) Esto isn't a form of estar, that's the problem you're having. It looks like the verb, but it's not. Esto = "this thing" like lo = "it."

"Lo es malo."
"Esto es malo."

The conjugated verb in there is "es" which IS one you probly know. :) The esto just looks verb-ish.

Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Thanks!

Right, I should have known that it would be 'es' (ser) instead of 'está
' (estar)...

Not sure what you mean but from what I'm hearing, the 5D is legit.

Alright Gil, time to settle this! ;0)

I'll bet you $10 USD that the 5d is for real.
