| Some nice shots there. The colors at these Ren fests are always great. I'm going to one in a week or two in Tuxedo, NY. Can't pass up the smoked turkey leg and a bucket O'Mead. |

They look great! Excellent captures. It's so hard to isolate your subjects with everything that's going on and you did it quite well!
Ours (Ohio) is starting Saturday and runs thru October 24. |

I love the ren faire, ours in PA runs till October 31st, It's my goal to go every weekend! To me it seems so magical! We have a really good one in PA very realistic, We live in Maryland but I haven't been to that one, I heard it's not as good.

which one? i stopped and looked at one at Moraine State Park in PA. |

I don't have anything to compare it with, but the Maryland Ren Fest is great! It's huge, and takes all day just to get a glance at everything. We go every year, in fact, plan to go next month.
I have heard that the PA one is fantastic though, would love to go to that one sometime. |

Great pics!
A little OT, but the MD Ren Faire is nothing compared to the PA one. I normally go to both at least once every season, I usually end up going to the PA one way more then that though. Just so much going on. On a side note, the Poe and Dickens shows are excellent as well if you're into that kinda thing. Actually i've never been disappointed by anything that i've been to at Mt. Hope... |

Very cool shots...I did my first Ren Faire (San Diego) during the Time Capsule Challenge that is where my Yarn Lady came from (here in color). The pickle vendor was creepy...no way was I going to sample her pickle.
  
  
Scott Williams the dulcimer player is quite awesome if he ever shows up at your ren faire stick around til he plays the Metallica stuff on that thing...Unforgiven sounds insane on that thing.
They kept trying to recruit me into some of the guilds (must have been the head band I had on) :)
The Big Ren Faire for California is going on either this weekend or next up at Big Bear (at least that's what they were saying)

I like this one (so would my 3 year-old as he is big on pirates right now!)...
We had our fair out this way a couple months back...here's a couple of pics (ok, several). ;^)
