I had a difficult decision on whether to enter This Photo or the one that I did in the current challenge. I would appreciate comments/critiques on the photo that I didn't submit. Thanks!

Wow...really nice shot! That is almost bordering on the topic of "history" rather than garbage. Although it does fit in the garbage category, it is beautiful. The holes in the wall behind it look like sad eyes. Almost eerie, like they are crying.
I also want to say that you have a very impressive pbase site. Excelent galleries, and excelent photos!

That's a really nice shot... I like it quite a bit... I would have really worked that subject and tried lots of different angles for impact as well... good shot :)

Very nice photo. It's nicely frames and looks very interesting. Any idea how old it is?

I'm not sure how well this would have done in garbage, because altho it is a very nice photo... I don't know if a lot of people would class it as typical garbage.

I'm glad you liked it and thanks for taking the time to look.

John, the old farm was full of great photo ops and I will be going back again to try to capture some more shots at different angles.

Konador, I really don't know how old it is and would hate to even venture a guess. I do think it might have been a small baby grand at one time because I saw what looked like the top piece that would have been propped open.

Wow! Great capture, great colors. Real weather beaten wood. I really like the rusted wall in the back. With the grass & weeds, it is clearly "trash" in my book - but you can never tell what the mass of voters want.
This is in the 9-10 catagory for me.

Since I don't know what you submitted to the current challenge, I ca't make any comparisons. As for the picture you presented, I thought it was a really good picture. About the only drawback that I saw, though I notice the other liked it, was that for me the rusted metal competed with the keyboard for attention. The colors of the weathered wood were almost overpowered by the richness of the metal.

But then that is just me and my monitor. If I were voting on this one, I'd probably be sitting here wondering whether to go with an 8 or a 9. Nice job!

I like that shot a lot! When I first brought it up, the rusty holes in the upper portion of the picture almost looked like a spooky set of eyes peering at me. Or maybe I'm suffering from paranoia.

Nice photo linda.. I like it alot! Without knowing which photo is yours it is hard to say.. but I think the piano would have done pretty well. I'll have to look you up when the challenge is over to see the one you submitted.
In the meantime, keep shooting! :)
