This image sums up summer fun and shows my daughters when they're happy.

This one shows my best friend and me in an incredible place on a special trip. It was halfway between our 40th birthdays and within a week of 25 years of being friends.

I just love the shapes and the staircase going a different direction from the implied curve of the black striping on each stair.

My two year and our dog. This is one of the first pictures I took with my Rebel. Theres just something about this picture that I love.

My daughter first horse show this past August. She had just turned 2. She's my riding buddy!!

My boys! Horses are my life and I was able to capture the 3 boys together. My ladies do their own thing!

Think the editing in this image works great! The bus in the background make it greater.

Also this won go to my favorites because of the editing... And the moving train..

This one because of the smoke and the closing eyes...

Only one of my alltime favorites, I think the reason is obvious - we had shared our lives for thirteen years

It's allways the last ones that are my favorites...

like the whites and the drama.

My doggy, just love her.

Love this one because of the story behind it (I flooded the next door gym :-D )and because I am sooo addicted to ink myself. That tattoo is gorgeous! The water was freezing cold, the model is sitting in a bath 3x3 mtr. with icecold water, her boyfriend is pouring the water over her. Got two shots of this printed on canvas in my studio.

for obvious reasons

My favorite of my tiger pics. Probably because, in that position with that expression, she reminds me of Orin, my dog that died a few months ago.

Not the greatest shot but my first attempt at pulling an image out of my head and getting it in to print.

Most captures how my world looks. to me. In my head. and how I fit in it.

least amount of work - 3 snaps - to have the greatest impact. Perfectly addresses my thoughts on my relationship with my teenage son.

Emotional favorite has to be this one, due to the story behind the image.....

This is the shot that "rocks my world", re the amount of favorites that many of you have choosen re this image, and it was also Kodaks "Photo of the Day", in March 2006, in New Yorks, "Times Square Garden", on the big screen for the day.

Personal right now favorite, is definately this one, called "Magnolia Blush", as I have just finished re processing it, for a new DPC Print, that is now available..... I am going to have this one done as a large canvas print, for our bedroom.....

I have entered 132 challenges and only have two framed prints hanging in my house from them (none are ribbon shots or top ten)

The first is my son and the image means a lot to my family and printed up well with better processing.

The second was a real treat for me to photograph because it is a place that a love to visit and it was just a magic time in the early morning.I printed a B/W version that was much sharper then this.

This is one of my favorite photos taken before digital cameras were common place. My son is 27 now, and here he is sitting at the table and my grandmother is seated behind him with the biggest smile on her face. He was the only grandchild, and she loved him so much. She had cancer and passed many years ago, but this photo sums up what a loving, caring person she was.

I'm no good at painting, but love to create "paintings" with Photoshop. I don't submit these to challenges, because "they aren't photographic", to quote a comment put on one of my entries. My husband and I used this as our Christmas card last year, and got a lot of positive feedback.

This is one of my favorites because the subject is so unusual, and the light, colors, and focus worked out so well.

Another of my "paintings". I only modified the background. The flower attracted my attention because the little yellow star flower is in such contrast to the pink leaves.

This is one of my teens who is very special to me.

My fav. challenge entry... I still love the concept.

I really like abstracts... this was a very dull looking piece of charred wood once upon a time.

This was just FUN!

- This is a favorite because of the subject. She died two weeks after taking this photo. Her name was Emma Grace.

- I like this one because the squirell just stood there and let me photo him. It was focused perfect I think.

- I love this one, it's so personal with the ostritch. They really are funny creatures.

Any in here:

They all celebrate life and
the power of the human emotion..

If I were to single one out,
it would probably be Walter,
The Face of a Thousand Tales

These two are some of my favorites because I love classic cars and I really love how this black and white came out I love the dark tones & reflection from the cars

This is one of my favorites because I love the leading lines and the guy adds to the photo alot, also seems to have a peacefull or quite feel to it

One of my favorites because this really has a lot of character and a great feel of NY to me.

My favorite photo because I really love doing panorama's and I am really proud or happy about this one because I spent so many hours on it and alot of people love this one.

this one because It hink it was the first and only time i set out to shoot something that took some set up and skill and actually got what i wanted. It didn't score as well as i hoped and i think many people didn't actually see the reflection but I am proud of it.

I just always liked these.

always loved the feel of this.

my little buddy

I LOVE horror movies and I was proud of this editing job (although i think i have made better zombies since)

This one:

because it's the ONE TRUELY spontaneous shot that I have actually GOTTEN. I usually miss the good stuff. And it's just really touching; the big cop and the little girl.

And this one:

Amanda and I had fun shooting it.

I love this one because of the colors, shapes and DOF. It could use some editing though.

I don't know why I love this one, I just thought it was a great shot. Maybe Im wrong though. Maybe it's because my grandma helped me out on this one, and I will always remember that.

My favorites are my favorites basically because of emotional attachment.
