I got a really great comment on my grain too! Now I know at least one person likes it!
(thank you Jeb!)

Yeah for Team OOFers, great going. ;-)

I love Team Suck. Hipychik you gave me a splendid comment on my Grain photo as well. Thank you!!!

Edit to add: Re difficulty choosing between different challenge entries for FS - usually I'm torn between at least two. This month, I knew it immediately and it is already posted and ready to go. And I promise it does not contain my "favorite" rooster :-)

I took Jeb's advice. One of the shots I can probably do again. I never thought about that. So I entered the other one that was a freak accident where I just happened to be in the right place at the right time! LOL

Oh...and you're welcome noraneko.

I'm about to have a heart attack (not literally of course). If my grain photo keeps heading up I may be in totally unchartered territory for myself. It is definitely looking like a PB. Hope it holds...I keep thinking it will start crashing at any minute.

I don't know what mine is at because I refuse to look anymore but I'm guessing high 4's however I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a mid 5.

Oh, quit being so fatalistic!

You're a terrific photographer!

Just relax and enjoy it!

If at this point it's up like that, it's not like it's going to plummet.

That's what I'm doing with mine.....just lovin' the voting!

Get your commenting fingers warmed up, girl!....LOL!!!

I don't know, there are some terrific photogs on TS. We all know that grain is silverfoxx's forte - she or someone else on our team may have a 7 for all I know :-) And I hope they do!!!

ah! Catherine, I don't want to disappoint you, but I am in crossdress:) I just felt like having fun and "crossdressing". I did have 7.3 though until recently I got several 1s and now I'm with 6.8
I will continue entering images with grain in usual challenges though ;P until it becomes accepted here :P I really love grain.

congrats on your PB!! and I still haven't started voting on this one so things can get even better :)

I'm safe from being the Designated Commentator this week it looks like! Congrats on all the great scores. And thanks for the comment in Time, Svetlana. I'm pretty slim on comments this week, too. One each in Circles and Grain, and now 5 (!) in Time.
03/15/2007 01:12:28 PM · #1962
Hehehehe...hipychik and Judi, thanks for great comments on my Crossdress shot...only a few trollish comments, still sucking at 4.1 or just less. Circle is at 4.8 with zilcho comments, probably 'cauuse it's got pretty, almost-oversaturated colours, and is completely inoffensive...eech! So THAT's what it takes to get a good score around here! lol!

Great work Christian, get over that flu soon - and get them shots and your well-earned money.

Time to go vote on Grain now...

Looks like you may get a PB in Crossdress, too! I also haven't voted in that competition yet, though I've thumbed thru the entries and laughed out loud at many awesome submissions. So you can probably count on at least one more good vote :-)

;) thank you!
this is strange, it took me max 30 minutes to make the shot and it's scored quite high... this is just somwthing for this challenge, nothing really special at all. and all of my "concept" images always score so low... quite frustrating:)
03/15/2007 01:27:49 PM · #1965
I bet your score will go back up, Svetlana, and with those numbers you are getting into...dare I say it...ribbon territory! I've got my fingers crossed for you! In cross dress!
03/15/2007 01:32:59 PM · #1966
hehe:) there are no ribbons...
;P
but thank you Catherine!

I sold my first photo!

I also received my first DQ. I used a filter in my image grain submission. :-(

Which filter did you use? You're allowed to use the noise filter.

03/15/2007 03:32:30 PM · #1969
It wasn't noise, it was a texture listed under image grain. It was my mistake.

Yeah, but selling a photo trumps a DQ any day!!
