yeah, i'm complaining about the lack of faces, but i didn't put my own face in either, out of respect... i just think faces are nice and they tell the most about a person. I don't really want to picture somebody I knows' head on someone elses body, that would just be bizarre. :)

the blue one was pulled by request of the photog. no other pics have been DQ"d at this time.

in the case of erotic art...i think it much nicer with no facial features. This way we can imagine ourselves in the scenario...and feel the scene...rather than looking at it from the outside.

How do you manage to do nudes in a landscape setting, i.e. in public? I have this vision that just when i have everything set up and have just tossed off my raincoat, the cops materialize out of nowhere and arrest me for indecent exposure.

Its an enclosed courtyard in the french quarter. The neighbors dont complain...they tend to enjoy naked women running about. NO COPS! Im thinking of some nude self portraits in a graveyard soon...for some sort of ghostly effect. I might get arrested for this one...i'll let you know how it works out. Although...I am in New Orleans...these cops might just stand around and enjoy the show.

Nude work in the New Orleans cemetaries could be really cool. To bad you can't do any nude work around City Park. Might want to check into Twin Oaks though, you could do some fantastic vintage styled nudes there.

good idea. I had a thought of doing vintage style porn...which isnt really porn by today's standards...just nudes. HMMMMM..thanks!

I saw some earlier comments in this thread indicating frustration with scores and some poor comments. I'm just getting back into photography and this is the second challenge I have commented on. If you think I've missed or the comments where not helpful, please feel free to let me know... I'm learning how to comment as well as trying to improve my photograpy.

It seems that the photographers of some submissions are already known. Is this because their style is recongnizable or is there some feature of the site that I am missing?

Openly discussing other entries while voting is still going on is discouraged. If you have done this, please edit your post to eliminate the mention of specific photographs.

Just wanted to say... I just got done voting... I gave out three tens... those three absolutely blew me out of the water! Some AWESOME photos in the nudes category!

It is the photographers job to shoot the model period "."

I was very disappointed with the quality of the photographs. All this talk about the models is crap. The photos are disappointing. I only had seen one two I would rate above a 7.
