I just wish for those who gave me lower scores would have given me some constructive cristicism comments. I would like to learn what and why people thought it could be better. :)

Looks like it may be a personal best, yay! I hope it stays above 5. And maybe gets some comments. Glad I ressisted the urge to go w/ Dead Flowers (it was close, I took several shots) - too many of those to compete with, lol. |

I didn't vote on this challenge but I'm not sure if more comments will really help U make better picture.
Knowing a little bit the DPC voters if you're picture is under/over exposed I'm sure someone will comment about it. If your picture is pixlated/out of focus I'm sure someone will comment about it. but if your pic is boring or even a very very good pic but one that has been done many times (like flowers/roses) unless your shot is real great you are likely to get low vote without any comment.
I generally comment mostly on pictures I like or have something to say about - I leave the technical comments to others. |

Considering what everyone else has posted, I guess I should be happy with that.
My July score is sucking at 5.8 and I thought it might crack the top 10. Figures. you just never know how folks are going to interpret your shots.

Ahhh No apparently I am very very stupid!!!! I got carried away with my Photoshop elements 5 and I really really should have stop to think what 'but no selections are allowed' in the rules actually meant
Have notified the SC (having embarrassingly said when I submitted my shot for validation 'I am sure this is OK')
