Just "showing something that's alive" sure isn't using much imagination. How does that express the concept of "Life"?

Gordon, now you've gone and opened the door even further! I think of Faith Hill "The meaning of life is a good cup of coffee........"

And playing a game with his sister, with their mother in the background reading a magazine.

Just to join Vonautsch in his private conversation for a while...

Douglas Adams is no longer with life, unfortunately. Ironically, it was during exercise, an effort to prolong life, he died.

But just what is the question?

The question is, what is the ultimate answer to life, the universe, and everything?

I'd actually really like to see an entry based on this, it's one of my favorite books.

Too bad it's not an open-editing challenge! So many visuals from those books you could use....

Actually, the Ultimate Question (or at least the one that was revealed by Arthur Dent who was able to divine by extracting it from his unconcious mind by pulling random Scabble letters out of a bag), turned out to be "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?" to which Arthur replied "I always knew there was something fundamentally wrong about the universe."

but that isn't the ultimate question..

for anyone that hasnt read the books
SPOILER ALERT

human beings aren't part of the original earth program, because the are made up of all the useless people from some other planet that crash landed on earth and ended up wiping out the original 'humans' so arthrus brain does not form part of the program.. I think this is all revealed in the 3rd or 4th book.

Anyway, back to the challenge, I'm finding it really hard, I can't come up with any creative ideas that say 'life' to me at all, and the only ideas I do have are impossible to shoot.. all I have so far are some boring landscapes and some dull macros, I doubt I'll submit anything for this..
