I nominate
Long Exposure Challenge entry "Long Winter Night" by griz210
This is a wonderful split frame image with great contrasts to emphasize the harshness of a cold winter night, the areas of light and dark in a human village at night. An interesting composition and unusual take on a commonly seen environment.
With this image's score and ranking it was seriously underrated. Should have been in the top 5-10% IMO.

Just wanted to chime in on this too. I've received quite a few comments from him lately - even on pics that don't get a lot of attention lol.

Edit to say I'm so very silly. I posted this in the wrong place. I meant to post it where we discuss underrated shots. Oh well.

I really think this one was seriously underrated in the texture challenge.

I know, I know, Free Studies shouldn't be OOBIEs, but this was criminally underappreciated:

I gave one of my higher scores to this - amazed it didn't do well. |

I would like to nominate cfarrell for an OOBIE for her photo "Penguins on Ice". I know it was not a low scoring photo but was delightful in its Out of the box playfulness.

I nominate Pointandshoot for an OOBIE for this beautiful photo. It is definitely a different approach to the Time Lapse challenge.

I was just coming in to nominate this - but you beat me to it! Well, I second it - wonderful OOBIE. Steve, you should get an award simply for being nominated so often. ;) |
