My family left today, and the house is so empty. We miss them all so much, especially our grandchild Judd.

I still want to be part of this side challenge.

Please give me a couple of days to catch up, and I will be taking some photos today of where we live.....

I helped a friend all day and didn't have time to take a shot today and its real cold and windy tonight. so here is i shot from where i am setting I know its after Xmas but as you can see my tree is still up. if it warms up i will try and get something outside tomorrow.

More toys. I was busy launching watermelons during the afternoon, so didn't get to shoot photos until late in the day. It was a fun day, and the BBQ was terrific! They gave us a couple of the plates that were prepared for the judges to pick samples from, YUM! It's a state BBQ cook off. Here is a linky: Wild Pig'N Pepper Jam

this is my first side challenge and i didn't get on the list, but i'd like to join in :)

this is the view from my front door



i went to have dinner at a friend's and temporarily went off course, so i had to pull over and thought it looked like a nice photo op anyway.

Okay, it's lose by where I live (40 miles), but I couldn't resist taking pictures at the Pasadena Rose Parade on New Years Day.

I'll take more local pictures tomorrow.
