A little dark, but another view of the Olympic Mountains.

Day 11 - We had a wonderful surprise today, as we found this pigeon neating in one of our hanging baskets, in out fern garden under our back verandah.

I'm Back! Here's a little magic from the Fuji S3 and some old 70's lenses. : )
I had a good time helping my son Robert move the S V Wahine from near Key Largo back to LaBelle Fl over the last couple of days. I missed out on the two weeks in the Bahamas, but did get a couple of days sailing and a few fun images.

Playing catchup...
Day 09 - Sears Tower (didn't get a chance to shoot yesterday, so a new edit of an older photo shot from the roof of my Summer '06 apartment)
Managed to grab some captures on the way to a meeting after work.
Day 10 - Unitrin
Day 10 (alternate) - Blade Runner (Dearborn Bridge east to Wacker)
Love to hear people's thoughts on the two Day 10 photos. I didn 't have the "big gun" with me, so had to settle for my little Sony P&S, but the colors and the rainy night just couldn't be passed up. Experimented with a little PP to bring out the mood, if not the sharp details. Enjoy.

Finally caught up with the comments. Whew! I would have finished a bit earlier except for the darned DPC Site maintenance. |

This photo is not interesting enough to put into Abandoned Places. The house is a couple of miles from me, on my way to pick up my daughter at school. |

I love a rainy night for the opportunities to drive along w/the shutter open. The results are unpredictable, but always fun.

I was hoping that I'd get the adaptor ring that I wanted to mount my macro flash on a lens, but when I opened the long-awaited package (I waited for two whole days!), I found that it contained a lens cap. Therefore, my plan to shoot some macros around the house this evening fell through. This is a bit of a fall-back plan kind of thing. A view of our kitchen. Note the rubbish on the kitchen table, the rubbish on the worktop, the pile of old shoes by the door, the cross-trainer on the left and my wife preparing three different dinners in one go for us fussy so-and-so's.

Day 11
A nice little find I made just about one year ago. This little oasis just off the main road. |

I was down by the river, again! I suppose it keeps me grounded. I was having a bad day and went down to the river to blow off steam. The garbage disposal broke, the microwave keeps tripping the fuse, and the downstairs bathroom toilet tank keeps filling with water. All three got fixed, but they still wasted a good portion of my day.
