Drew, you wanna go if we get a group together? You're not toooooo far away! :D

I would consider it...it would be a bit of a drive (so I will probably have to enjoy seeing all your all's pictures). Plus I would have to jump tandem. My weight, plus someone strapped to my back...it would be a quick trip! I might not have time to take any pictures! I remember not breathing until the 'chute opened the one and only time I jumped. I would go again, but would want to pay for training to jump solo and from a higher altitude than my first jump...it didn't seem like the freefall lasted that long (I must be aerodynamic or something)!

I hope you all get to do this as a big group...and take lots of pictures!

It should have read: I want to freefall with a group and strap my camera to my hand...and a 'chute to my back!

And I'm talking about Physics. You know that a heavy object (your camera) at the end of a lever (your arm) will carry a lot of inertia when you finally 'land'. This will have the heavy object continue on it's path until it hits another object which will absorb the force (your head or thigh come to mind).

Helmet cams don't suffer from this. ;)

It seems that you had a great day flying in circles!

Was nice to read your pictures and see the story.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Yessir, I did! :D

Great story, thanks for sharing.

Now let me give you some advice a fighter pilot once gave me. "Next time, eat a banana before you go."

"Why, because you won't throw up?" I asked.

"No," he said.

"For the potassium?" I asked.

"No," he said, "because it tastes about the same coming up as it did going down!"
