How can I find the EXIF of an image hosted online?
For example...//forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1031&thread=27017338&page=3 mentions the EXIF of the files.
But when I save to the desktop, the EXIF is stripped.

| What browser are you running? If you are running Firefox, then it's easy... go here. Add the linked browser extension, then you get EXIF displayed when yoiu right-click and display properties. |

The flickr pics linked in the thread are not representative of what an SLR can do. I can see a noticeable difference in the clarity of my new XT to my S5. But that was not your question.
The exif is not included in those Flickr images. If they had them, there would be a "more properties" link. Some image editors, especially older or simpler ones, do not handle Exif.
Thanks for the linky to the FF extension, Kirbic, I have been looking for something like that.

A super tool and free for all non commercial use is Irfanview image viewer/editor. The program and a complete easy to install package of plugins is available at Irfanview.com ... Go for it ... it is an incredibly easy to use and intuitive image viewer/editor and handles just about ANY image format out there.
