its amazing .. during this month i've learnt heaps about insects and their diverse and intricate anatomies ... its been a blast ..
its also been excellent seeing the amazing variety and quality that this side challenge has brought out ..

i thought i'd finished, but i took a few photographs of wasps today so i'll put one in here ..
its only two and a half hours till 1st May ...
so i'll see you tomorrow in may creative choice side challenge !!

I am finishing up with this image of my three Gerberas, that I did early in the month, but put together as a floral triptych.....
Thanks for the amazing month of awesome images from you all.....
Due to health reasons, I am not going to start a new side challenge for May, but will look in every now and then and leave some comments.....

"Even TP can dream"
It has been a fun and exciting (yet challenging) journey. Thanks for taking it with me.
My goal was to challenge myself to take a mundane and unflaterring subject and try and make it interesting and fun, while keep true photographic techniques in play. Hopefully I was close to my goal.

There have been so many GREAT images here this month, I have held this hidden in my portfolio for about 2 weeks now
I think this is nowhere near technically anything even close to good, but I could not resist taking this shot when I drove by and saw that little cat just sitting htere so patiently, no doubt licking its chops...had to back the car up to catch this!
He would make a wonderful nature photgrapher eh???
Great month all! Loooking forward to the "sequel" next month!

30. Autumn - Dead or Alive
I truly believe I didn't want to let this side challenge end - I could NOT for the life of me produce this image in a way I intended.
But May has arrived and a new project beckons so here it is - incomplete to my eyes - GRIN!
THANK YOU ABUNDANTLY for the wholehearted way you have all approached this month.
It's been a true joy and delight to witness what everyone else did with their side challenge.
