Does anyone know what happened to the 1st place picture of the girl on the ledge in the Edge challenge? Did it get DQ also?

How do we submit proof of our original picture? My picture is in 1st place now. Do I need to submit the original picture? If so how?

Please check your mail. We have requested proof on your entry several times now and it is pending DQ for lack of response.

Please check your emails. You should recieve one about uploading your original photo. This is the 3rd time we've asked you for it. We were very close to DQing your photo due to not recieving proof. If you still don't recieve one, check the email address you gave when signing up is correct, if it is, then you can send your original to me and I'll post it in the site council forum for review. My address is konador@blueyonder.co.uk .

Thanks for your cooperation and congrats on your win :)

Konador,

I just sent the original to your email address. I never received any of the emails requesting the original. Where they sent to wk.shen@aafes.com ? I checked my profile and that is the email address I have on it. Please let me know if you received it.

Thanks,

Does the Request for proof email come from DPchallenge.com? I receive the weekly update emails without a problem but for some reason I did not receive any of the requests for proof.

Is there some place we can check on this site for proof requests?

Thanks,

Byshen

Thanks, I just got it. It looks fine to me but I'm running it past the rest of the site council anyway... procedure.

Do you have a spam filter on your email account? You might want to check the spam box if you have one, as dpchallenge emails have occasionally been known to get put in there. If you do have one, you should make it allow dpchallenge.com as a domain.

Very lucky to still be in. In my request for original i was given 48 hours, you`ve had 5 days.
It`s a great pic and deserves 1st place.

OOOOH! Does this mean I may hit 1st Place? ho ho, only joking! Hope they validate it, great shot.

Already pleased to have gone from 4th to 2nd in one week ;)

Konador,

The request for proof email never got to my email. It is my work email address so it's possible that the Firewall at work some how screened it out. I am going to set myself up with another email address on hotmail.com for DP challenge.

Is it possible to have a flag be displayed next to a picture if proof is requested or have a message show up when we log onto the DPchallenge website along with the email requesting proof. I would hate for myself or anyone else to be disquailfied because they did not get the request for proof. Just a suggestion.

Thanks,

Byshen

There should be a message that appears in your stats box. If you don't have a stats box on the lefthand side of the homepage, go to your preferences and make sure that option is enabled.

Edited to say that I'm wrong, if the challenge is over, it doesn't currently show, sorry. But make sure your stats box is enable anyway for the messages that will show.

Don't use hotmail! Talk about spam and advertisement city.

Use a decent free email provider, like FastMail. WAAAAAYYYYY better than a Yahoo or Hotmail account. The ads for the free "Guest"-level account are minimal and non-intrusive (unlike most web-based mail providers). Personally, I paid the $14.95 one-time fee to get a "Member"-level account and got rid of ALL ads, got a shorter user name, more domains to pick from for my email address, more storage space, etc. etc. What a deal. FastMail even allows IMAP access so you don't have to use their feature-laden web interface!

A quicky advert for spamgourmet.com

Free service, disposable, limited life time email addresses.
You make them on the fly, no overhead and hand them out to anyone
and everyone - all replies sent to your normal email. As soon as
an address starts getting used for spam, you just terminate it.

You can even set a limited expiration on an address, so it only works for 1 or 2 (up to 20) mails before stopping working (and you can reset this count or allow people to bypass it)

Excellent service and free... //www.xoxy.net

Robbed me of 5 days on home page.
Should be executed.

I think you ought to just make him stare at your signature for five days. That'd be some serious punishment. :P

I think he'd hang himself after day 1 after having to look at that!

Just my two cents... your animation in your tag line is just annoying :)
