Biography:

I am computer nerd by day, a wanabe photographer, writer, guitarist, martial artist, fisherman (the list goes on and on) by night ; )

I was always interested in photography as a child but never had money for a Camera and film. Signed up for a photography class in college and had to drop it when I found out that I had to provide my own 35mm camera!

Owned a Minolta manual X700 35mm Camera before going digital. I've always wanted a darkroom but its pretty hard to set up in an apartment! Ended up spending a lot of time dropping off film at the 1 hour photo place and annoyed that I didn't have any control of the print phase.

I didn't become interested in Digital until the prices of Digital SLRs dropped to a point where us amatuers could actually consider purchasing one. Now that I have a digital SLR, I'll never go back to film! Having my own digital darkroom without the chemicals, smell, space and equipment is GREAT!

This is a great site! Kudos to the owners of the site. Its a fun site that challenges us and give us place to share, learn and improve!

Always eager to learn and hear new and better ideas and techniques!
