Anybody else having problems with the menus and crash-y-ness of nikon software viewNX and the nik filters? |

Nope, I'm very happy with it and its quite intuitive. There are a few updates out, latest is version 1.4.0
Nikon Transfer is at 1.5.0 with a few minor improvements from the previous version.
I'm am however using it on Win XP Pro SP3 and can't comment on Snow Leopard.

He's asking fellow mac'ers about issues... I'm using the same config as you and have had no problems yet though (don't use Nikon Transfer though).

I haven't upgraded to snowleopard yet, but there are known issues with the Nik filters & SL.
There is a Nik Flickr group and the Nik folk post there regularly. Here's a link to a thread about the issue.

ETA. After reading the thread again, I notice NIK have already done the fix and it can downloaded from the nik software website.
