If it is not to late I would like to join in...I saw Sara's beautiful submission on facebook and it made me realize how much I've missed DPC the last several months. I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute, but I love photo impressionism and I'm looking forward to following this side challenge. I've had to let my membership expire so not sure if I can upload non-challenge images or make comments?

You are welcome. I assume you can post links to other sites and post comments. Not sure if you can upload to DPC (I am still new here). |

I would enjoy joining this group, and sharing some photos that have been in my collection for a while.
I have a great affinity for photos that can connect the viewer to the "feel" of the scene without having to be sharp or an exact depiction of things exactly as they appeared at the time the image was captured.

Thanks for the comments. It is a good learning exercise. I have followed the suggestions and re-cropped the image in a different way. |

Sorry, I've been busy the last couple days. I see a lot of lovely new pictures here to enjoy. Meanwhile, this shot is of some bare tree branches against a pewter-gray sky outside my window; shot with the 100-400 zoom, zoomed and panned diagonally during exposure.
