cutout is a magician. I suspect that if you met him in the street he would be levitating on the peripheral of the sort of anti-dimensional angles that would make most men insane. He squashes time and makes mad-math. I think we should honour him as the Higgs Bosom of DPC. And may the un-god have mercy on us all. *
Here are some of his photographs...
*Yes, that's the challenge description. |

Cutout. Enigmatic and untouchable. I like the idea, but fear that we'll all fall short. |

So you're saying that cutout is the source of all inertia on DPC??

Like an origami flower. I've certainly taken photographs this week for the 'Feel Good' challenge and submitted my best one. And then, just this evening, going through cutout's portfolio, i found that exact same photograph in a corner of one of his images from two years ago. Like it had been folded into the past retroactively. I suspect most DPC images are equally trapped. Not a bad thing. Anyway, i just thought it would be an interesting challenge. Plus i've got some plastic scissors i fancied using.

these be tough assignments: ubique, cutout, jmritz. even dizzying, because I don't know how much they have already (unduly?) influenced me.

I think it would be instructive and inspirational to have a cutout tribute challenge. Let's do it. |

He would have to provide a webinar on his technique first!!! But go for it. |

I imagine something with a blowtorch and lots of cursing. Yes, we definitely need a webinar. |

When I was five the teachers were worried because I wasn't able to handle scissors properly ... it's been an upward battle ever since. Maybe a webinar would help? |

would not turn down a webinar but the fun would be in the approximating - there is only one JAN |

this would be a fun challenge, albeit hard to emulate, there is only one cutout after all! |

This would be a challenge to get excited about, I will do a little dance if it comes about and I won't shave for a month, the chin that is.

Ha. Sorry Jan. I know you dislike all this kind of stuff. I'd had a glass of wine or two last night and was excitable. The challenge suggestion can sink without trace. ;)

How about a cut-up challenge? We're all good at that. |
