Description:
This art movement rejects reason, logic, in fact any form of cultural and intellectual conformity. Dada has only one rule: Never follow any known rules. Celebrate nonsense, irrationality and intuition with your entry.
Rules:
Expert Editing or Advanced Editing
Examples:
"Bicycle Wheel (Roue de bicyclette)" (Marcel Duchamp, 1913)
"Skat Players (Die Skatspieler)" (Otto Dix, 1920)
"L'Ange du Foyer" (Max Ernst, 1937)
"Observatory Time-The Lovers" (Man Ray, 1936)

A chance to just let the imagination run absolutely wild and free...I'd be up for it. |

Don't be so crude. They're called fountains.
Dada is the love of the brown ribbon. If we have this challenge, I promise to leave Dada comments on every entry. |

For that reason alone, I'm for it. |

Dada as a art movement, insulated from war in Zurich, originated as an affront & reaction to the insanity & slaughter of WW1. In a great degree artists of the Dada movement mirror the characteristics & method of legitimacy of the time - a rejection of reason and logic.
The purpose of Dada was not primarily to celebrate in an art of a particular aesthetic but rather to protest.
It is difficult not to like the origin of Dada and those regular intellegent, bourgeois, mild mannered, suit & tie, people reacting to global insanity with a technique not unlike our own cut & paste.
I would favor a Dada challenge.

Yes, expert please.
...and lest the women-folk complain, we should have an alternate mamaism challenge to go with it. |
