I just went through about 1/3 of the challenge submittions and I gotta say there are some really nice photos in this challenge, but it lacks originality in my opinion.
I eventually ranked them mostly by technical execution and appeal so the scores came out real high

I sat at a 5.7, 5.8, or 5.9 up until 58 votes (from start to 4pm on Monday) and then abruptly dropped to 5.3 somewhere between 58 to 68 votes!
I've finally broken 5.4 again (5.4455 @ 101 votes @ 8pm) and have 3 comments. 1 of them is high praise from a ribbon winner and another is high praise from a photographer whom I highly respect so those make me INCREDIBLY happy and make up for the score drop!

I'm at 5.25. The highest I noticed my score was 5.56. But I'm so excited because I did get my first favorite vote!!
I believe my touch photo may get the brown ribbon though. So far 3.26.

I'm at 5.23, which is better than I thought...I'm not real happy with my lack-lustre photo which is probably why I have no comments!

Things are what they are and we do not have the power to turn events either by prayer or curse. Yes, some will argue the pro and cons but these are only exercises. Kirbic, if no other member holding a higher score exist than you win. lol |

| Very mediocre 5.x score still for me, but I've gotten some really great comments. Okay, so I have a grand total of 4... but they've been great ones :) I'm really happy with this shot, whatever the score, so I'm tickled pink that a few other people are liking it too :) |

I know how you feel. I'm in the low 5's with a shot that I thought would do great. Got one comment of suggestion and four good comments. I'm NOT complaining though. This is still 0.3 better than my best challenge to date (still a newbie with only 4 other challenges). So I'm feeling down and happy at the same time - if that makes sense. Still have alot of voting to go so I'm continuing to chear on my photo!, and as always, I'm having a ball! :)
