I'd like to share that the print of this picture
was submitted in the Monochrome Prints October Open Competition at Images Alberta Camera Club and won the first place in the category. This is the first time that I have won a competition and it feels nice to be acknowledged. Maybe one day I will have a similar success at DPC.

Feels good doesn't it? I won second prize in a Halifax photo contest a few months back, so I understand where you are coming from.

Congrats Artvet (now I get the name - checked out your profile)!!!!
I hadn't heard of that site before (I'm in calgary)..I like this photo quite a bit, it's very much like my own tastes.

I am from Edmonton and I have a small animal clinic here. I signed into the Images Alberta Camera Club a month ago. It looks like a bunch of very nice people there, and some of them are really good photographers. |
