Hi everybody

New to photography and new to this site. Hoping to learn a lot in the photography world so advice/criticisms on my recently uploaded photos would be appreciated. Hoping to have some fun in the process as well.

rianbotes is another pretty active member down there in SA- so if you have questions or want to meet up, he might be a good option.

Welcome, Glenn! And you can always request a critique on any images, whether when you upload for a challenge or just want feedback on an image. Now start entering challenges! :-)

Thanks everybody. Would really appreciate your thoughts on the few images I have uploaded so far. They are quite below the standards of the majority of photos I have seen here, but I would really appreciate any constructive criticisms.

Welcome from another Saffer. Your rate of learning will be directly proportional to the amount of challenges you enter and how many forum posts you read... The latter is almost more important but you still need to be able to out it into practice.
