Otherwise you just encourage them to continue entering great images that have little or nothing to due with the challenge topics :) Search the forums for DNMC and you will find hundreds of arguements for both sides. DPC will always have this issue and you just have to decide how you want to deal with it.
That said I enjoyed looking at and voting on the Collections images. I quickly skipped over the ones I thought were DNMC and tried to enjoy the rest and provide some useful comments. |

I think i got the brown in the bag.
I'll be VERY disappointed if i don't since this is an otherwise low score (over a full point below my average since starting with the site).
On a related note, found out why most of my images have been appearing so dark to you - my monitor settings were wonky and brightness/contrast were jacked to 100%/85%. Screwed with my paintshop pro view compared to what you guys see on the web.

I made a test shot (with my cell phone from a slow moving car) and didn't have the chance to make it back to do a final shot. So I decided to just crop it and submit.

Look forward to seeing your shot Josh, and the others, mines a dismal failure, but I kind of knew that. Some hot shots in this challenge, I predict a very close finish for the Top ten. |
