canon 135mm 2L vs canon 50 1.4 - DPChallenge Forums

hallo everyone there, i got the chance to try one 135 mm 2 L and i made a vs with my 50mm 1.4 all i wanted to see is the sharpness, i made tests and it came out clearly that my 50 mm has the advantage in termns of sharpness, i read the reviews and all say that the 135mm is sharper, so im doing it wrong? dont thing so, im been shooting pro since 2006, but.. there is any chance that the 135mm is broken or something? what do yuou think? i really was considering buying that one

At f/2.0 I give the edge to the 135mm.

I'd be *really* surprised if the 135/2 was bested by the 50/1.4 @ f/2. In particular, look in the corners. ALso look at micro-contrast. The 135 should be superior in that regard, the MTF is higher.

thank you all guys, i saw that lens comparison site, and doesnt match with my tests thats way im asking. so it can be that the lens i have have flaws :(
