Are you ever amazed at where your "Top picks" ended up in the final challenge results?

I usually take a look at where my top picks (vote of 8 or more) end up and note the ones that didn't make the Top 20. Sometimes they mostly align with the final results; more often than not there's a handful that don't.

Feel free to add your "amazed at surprises" here as well if you'd like to.

I'm pretty much in agreement with OP as to being surprised at the same images not being scored higher in the 2013 challenge, and would add the following:



And here are a few that caught my eye in the January FS, in addition to the ones Barry mentioned:

(I particularly like the binary image number)

I feel honored to be on your list, truly Robert! But I was pretty happy with Top 20 anyway.

Here are my faves for the challenge,that didn't get into the top ten, they received 10's 9's and 8's

Of my top four in Minimalist Landscape II, only one finished in the top 20 (and that was in 13th.)

Most of my 8's and higher made the Top 20. Here's a couple that didn't.



I do have to add that I picked this to ribbon and it just barely made the Top 20 --> Added to fav's ... your's too Melethia.
