I'm getting more and more into Instagram and it's helping me become more creative along with allowing me to see everyone's work! What are your Instagram names??? I want to follow more people!
Edit to add - If you follow anyone in particular that you find good, post those too...!

For images Instagram is way better than Facebook, at least now.

To my understanding the only way to upload to Instagram is from mobile devices. At least this is how I do it. I transfer he photos to my phone and upload them from there. |

There are software that can make the upload from desktop/laptop computers |

| That's what I was wondering -- I haven't tried it, because I thought it was just for phone photos -- of which I'm not very proud!! |

I use an app called flume. It has a few other features besides uploading from the desktop. It may be A Mac specific app |

There's a (free) plug-in for Lr to allow publishing to instagram. It's called Lr/Instagram. I have not used it, but it does seem to get good reviews. Direct publishing is most definitely the way to go.

Just started with instagram. So far so good. Lots of feedback.
I used the Lightroom plugin  Kirbic mentioned. Works way better than going through your phone! (www.lrinstagram.com)
I'm at "bruce_macdougall_photography"
ps, it can get addictive :-) |

| Wanted to add that I'm not currently an Instagram user. Thinking about this, perhaps I should be though? I wonder if we could leverage exposure on Instagram to drive some traffic to DPC and perhaps pick up some new members? |

It's saturated enough to reach lots of people. |

got invited to join team for DPL .. and decided to bite the bullet and accept..
haven't been active here in dpc for a long time .. so its a big deal for me being back ..
noticed this thread and thought why not ..
i also find instagram a great place to post my random photos ..
I've found it a bit impersonal but that's ok ..
i have other social media platforms where i feel more connected..
roz in instagram .. hopefully link works .. ive forgotten how to do stuff here .. ;) ..
also a high proportion of my photos there are taken on my phone ..
gotta love a camera u can quick draw out of ur back pocket .. !! ..
