It seems like a good time to mention a little-known fact :-) We decided a while ago there was no need to DQ DNG originals in Archival Challenges. Why? Because the only reason we ever DID it was because we couldn't validate a date inconsistency ("Modify" date was different from "Exposure" date), but that's irrelevant in Archival challenges.
I expect this is good news for some of y'all. My bad that we never publicized this earlier :-(
