Challenge: In the style of  streetpigeon
Rich has a unique vision and style to his images. Very noticeable in his portfolio, and it comes thru in some of his challenge entries as well. Take a look around and capture an image that could be mistaken as a 'streetpigeon' capture.
Standard editing rules please. |

I see a lot of his stuff is what I call semi-abstract. I like doing these but they aren't widely appreciated here.

Well, in Rich's defense - he didn't ask for this challenge suggestion, I did. I wouldn't think it's fair to ask him to comment on all of them - unless of course he wants to. :-) |

Thank you, Barry, for kindly putting my photographs forward as interesting enough to merit a challenge. No one was more surprised and befuddled than I was when it caught my eye a few days ago. Didn't even realize that I had a style. Also, thank you to those visionaries who've seconded the notion for such a strange adventure. I'm equal parts flattered and flustered - the latter in not knowing quite what to make of it. No false modesty here - my average vote received is 5.327; and if I have a style it doesn't jump out at you or, as a matter of fact, hardly peek out at you from around the corner. So many other members would, I'd think, precede me in this line.
If it becomes a done deal I'd be honored, and sure to comment universally. I find Don's support most touching, since his comments always cut to the chase no matter from which angle they spark, compared to my meandering. My honest feeling is that I hope to one day, to my own satisfaction, deserve my fellow DPCers' appreciation..
And thanks once again. |

I think that's what I said when I was briefly threatened with this treatment some time ago ... as far as I can tell the most consistent aspects of your portfolio are clever titles, prioritizing of subject/composition, and a refusal to be pigeon-holed ... :-) |

| I̢۪m going to try and shoot for this as I really like his style. It̢۪s been a while since I̢۪ve entered something and this challenge gives the excuse to hit the streets. |
