I currently own an Canon 6D (1st gen) and the bellow lens:

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM

I also have the below:

Canon Macro twin lite MT-24ex
Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT

I rarely use and whilst they are old they may still hold some value. I'll soon relocate and I may not be able to carry all of them with me.

Therefore I'm looking to sell all and see if I can get a second hand mirrorless camera* with one lens for the money I could fetch for the above listed. I would not mind a Sony. I'm not looking for the latest generation.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Thanks!

Edit: *full frame camera

If you're looking to keep costs down, stick with Canon. Get a recent-generation Canon mirrorless, adapt one or two of your EF lenses, and off you go. FWIW, your current EF lens lineup includes some glass that definitely has value, and the Macro Twin Lite should still have good value if you find the right buyer; it's a downright excellent macro flash, and is/was an expensive flash to begin with.
For Canon mirrorless bodies, look at the R6 Mk II. When they are in stock (currently not), Canon has refurbs available at $1699 US. You could offset a good piece of that cost with sale of a couple lenses. The EF 100-400 alone should bring north of $1k USD.

Kirbic may be right though I think the biggest size and weight savings for crop sensor mirrorless is with the smaller lenses. If you have any interest in trying a Micro 4/3, I have an Olympus EM1 Mk1 for sale cheap.EM1 w/ Tamron 14-150

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. Cost is the main issue. I also don't use the cameras that much but who knows since I need to pick up a new career soon :(

I would like to switch to a more modern camera, a second hand of a not-the-latest-but-not-too-old model if possible. If not some cash from the gear won't hurt me :)

I will keep the Lumix FZ1000M2 and the LX100.

Steve, the Oly is a great deal, thanks, but not what I am looking for. Also shipping would be an issue since I am not in the states.

Fritz, good suggestion. However, where I am Canon does not offer any refurbished items. New R6MK2 is US$2100. On the other hand I saw a brand new SONY 7M3 with a 28-70mm Kit Lens @US$1560 edit: 2018 technology... and a Canon R8 with 24-50 Kit @US$1400 edit: maybe too many trade-offs ... I hope I don't get down a rabbit hole here :(

I'll check what I can get for my gear and decide later if the I'll keep the hobby at this level of gear ($$$).

Thanks again!

Hi all,

I just sold all the above listed and the Lumix Fz1000ii and added a little extra and got me self a brand new R6MK2 with the RF24-100 F4-7.1 STM and a niftyfifty RF50 F1.8 with extra battery and a lexar 256GB...

The second hand market is not great here in HK so I got less that what I could have gotten in US or selling online, but I could not do that.

Best part is that I don't feel sorry for any of the L glass gone nor any regret that I may have sold them too cheap.

I'm in the modern world and with way less baggage.

I just used the camera for a brief 5min and it does seem to offer so many new possibilities.

Cheers and thank you all. Thanks Fritz again for pointing out the R6.

Hey, looks like a fine update!
I think you will frankly be amazed at what the R6 Mk II AF will do, most especially with face detection. Give it run with the 50/1.8 wide open, it will nail focus on the eyes nearly every time.
